Hi there : )

My name is Franziska (Fran), I'm a 35 year-old nursing student at SJSU living in Santa Cruz with my husband, Rick. We have a dog, Roxie, and two cats, Powder and Alton. My husband and I commute over the hill on a daily basis for work and school, respectively. Sometimes we commute together in the "cage", now the weather is less wet we like to commute separately on our own moto's : ) Weeeeee!

We both took the beginner safety course back east about 6 years ago, and took the advanced one here in CA a few years ago. I recently upgraded from a 2002 Ninja 250 to a 2006 F650GS, and I'm VERY happy about it : ) Rick rides a K1200RS. The new bike came with 300 miles on it about 4 weeks ago, now it has about 1300 miles on it! We took a ride up to Tahoe a couple weekends ago and Betty the Beemah performed fabulously : )

As a full-time student I don't have much time to play, but look forward to opportunities when they work out with my schedule. I am very much looking forward to the Carmel Valley Road ride : ) And meeting all of you! I saw an "ad" in the NorCal News and was truly excited to find a local group of ladies to enjoy riding with.
